Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak has confirmed he will become the new head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders.
Kubiak made the admission on NFL Network in the aftermath of the Seahawks’ 29-13 Super Bowl win over the New England Patriots on Sunday.
When asked about his future as a head coach, Kubiak initially remained tight lipped and said: ‘That’s up to God. We’re just going to enjoy tonight.’
But he then crumbled, adding: ‘You guys know I’m going to Las Vegas. I’m fired up about it. Hell yeah I’m going.’
It was widely expected that Kubiak would take up the position after an impressive season leading Mike Macdonald’s offense.
He will take over in Las Vegas after Brady and his fellow Raiders owners fired Pete Carroll earlier this offseason.

The Raiders have the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s NFL draft and are widely expected to take Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza.
