A Canadian school shooter killed two people at their house before massacring six at school and taking their own life.
Six people were found dead, including the attacker, inside Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia, as well as two at a connected residence.
An additional person died on the way to the hospital, CBC News reports. The shooter appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the scene.
Twenty-five others were injured in the Tuesday afternoon massacre. Their conditions remain unknown at this time.
The attacker has not yet been named and their motive remains unclear. An emergency alert described the shooter as a ‘female in a dress with brown hair’.
Royal Canadian Mounted Police have not confirmed if the suspect found dead at the school is the same person described in the alert.
