Securing quality sleep is absolutely crucial, which is why consumers should invest time in selecting the proper bedding and pillows. Emma has a comprehensive selection of sleep products, and in the run-up to Valentine’s Day, the retailer is slashing prices by up to 25% on mattresses, pillows, and other items.

Until February 23, shoppers can find deals including an offer on the Emma Adapt Cooling Pillow Bundle, which was £164, now £123 in the sale – working out at 25% off. This package contains two Emma Adapt Cooling Pillows (70 x 40cm) and one Emma Spring Autumn Duvet (200 x 200cm) worth £69.

Formerly known as the Premium Foam Pillows, these are designed to keep sleepers ‘cool and supported every night’. They incorporate ThermoSync foam, which the manufacturer states maintains the body’s ideal temperature for a ‘deeper and more restful sleep’, alongside a layer of HRX Foam, which provides ‘ideal support function’ for sleepers’ heads and necks, relieving pressure, reports the Mirror.

The pillows also feature an Ultra-Dry Plus cover to wick moisture away. It comprises a white knitted fabric that allows air to flow through it and, regarding maintenance, customers can simply pop the cover in the washing machine for ‘effortless maintenance’.

For those who don’t require the bundle, there’s the Emma Adapt Cooling Pillow – typically £82, now £65.60 in the sale. This incorporates the same memory foam and ThermoSync cooling foam, and is claimed to provide medium to firm support. Emma is currently offering the Emma Comfort Cooling Pillow Bundle for £120, down from its original price of £160.

Emma also offers the Emma Comfort Cooling Pillow Bundle, available for £120, down from £160, which includes two Emma Comfort Cooling Pillows (50 x 70cm) and an Emma Spring Autumn Duvet (200 x 200cm), which is essentially included at no extra cost. The pillows feature a padded cover made entirely of micro-elastic materials, providing ‘superior breathability and a dream-like silky soft touch’, according to the brand.

The site also highlights Emma’s Outlast technology that actively manages heat by absorbing, storing, and releasing it. Additionally, the pillows are filled with Aerosoft microfiber, which is both soft and supportive. They also have removable inner layers, allowing for customisation.

For those interested in just the pillow, the Emma Comfort Cooling Pillow can be purchased separately for £64, reduced from £80. Previously known as the Premium Cloud Pillow, this single pillow provides medium-soft support.

Alternatively, Dusk offers a Pair of Duck Feather and Down Pillows starting from £25. Available in standard or super king sizes, these pillows offer soft, medium, and firm support options. They are filled with 90% lightweight duck feather and 10% luxury duck down, and are encased in 100% cotton percale, as stated on the site.

Elsewhere, Debenhams has this HomeSpace Direct 4 x Contoured Memory Foam Bamboo Pillow for £104.99, slashed from £114.99. The pillow has dense, high-rebound, shredded memory foam that moulds to sleepers’ heads, whilst the contoured design promises ‘perfect cervical alignment, reducing discomfort and promoting blood circulation’, according to the retailer.

Turning back to Emma’s range, customers have been singing its praises in their feedback. One buyer said: “Adapt: I am fussy about my pillows, like Goldilocks, the perfect pillow is difficult to find. I had a different brand with foam and microfibres, and that was my favourite.

“It’s so old it’s fallen apart, and it’s taken ages to find a similar pillow, dual-sided, firmer on one side and not too high. I love you can remove a layer, although I haven’t had to. The former side works well when I have acid reflux, and the softer side is my go-to for regular sleeping. Comfy to sit against with my cup of tea too. Really pleased!”

Another customer shared: “I am a bit of a fussy sleeper but since having bought this pillow I sleep like a baby! The pillow can feel a bit hard at first, but it’s a trick that works since I’m getting amazing sleep on it. Only remark I have is that is not actually too cool, breathability could see some improvement.”

However, not everyone was completely won over, with some offering more measured reviews of the Emma Comfort Cooling Pillow. One buyer noted: “Really like the comfort, but the pillows feel too tight in regular-sized pillowcases.”

The majority of responses were positive. One satisfied customer shared their experience with the Emma Adapt Cooling Pillow, stating: “I’ve suffered from tension headaches for years, but this pillow has really helped and mostly alleviated them.”
