Two Samsung Galaxy stockists are handing out free tablets with select mobile upgrades.
Samsung is giving away free tablets this month when customers upgrade their mobile. We’ve found the same offer at two competing retailers, which includes a free Galaxy Tab A9+ with the Samsung Galaxy S25.
The best value deal is at Currys-backed site Mobiles.co.uk, where the Galaxy S25 is now £23.99 per month and £79 upfront on iD Mobile’s 100GB plan. The same deal is up for grabs at Carphone Warehouse too, but they’re running low on stock.
There’s another Samsung mobile in the deal as well, albeit a little pricier. Those opting for the ultra-slim Galaxy S25 Edge can bag the free tablet, with the phone setting you back £29.99 per month and £119 upfront on iD Mobile’s 100GB plan.

After snapping up any of these deals by February 24, shoppers can pop over to the Samsung deals site here and claim their free Galaxy Tab A9+. They’ll just need to upload their proof of purchase and fill in all the necessary details within 30 days of buying.
Typically, the Tab A9+ would set shoppers back around £185 from Amazon, depending on the model. Another big plus is that iD Mobile has already frozen its prices for the coming year, so no price hike is due in April, reports the Mirror.

Mobiles.co.uk customers can claim a free Galaxy Tab A9+ with orders of the Galaxy S25.
However, there’s a slight downside coming in 2027, when the £23.99 plan will jump to £25.49 from April 1. Even factoring in the upfront cost, the Galaxy S25 contracts at Mobiles.co.uk and Carphone Warehouse undercut Samsung’s own pricing.
For instance, customers bagging the £23.99 deal from Mobiles.co.uk will end up paying £669.76 over the 24-month contract, while Samsung is currently selling the phone for a discounted £759.05 (was £799) when buying outright. The Mirror‘s Tech Editor Dave Snelling is a big fan of the Samsung Galaxy S25, dubbing it ‘out of this world’ when it hit the market last year.
“Samsung’s latest smartphones look out of this world,” he enthused. “They boast a massive speed boost, razor-sharp cameras and are now the lightest flagship phones the Korean tech giant has ever produced.
“They’re also built to last, which should mean less chance that you’ll break them, and Samsung has crammed in the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, delivering a 40% performance hike. Samsung is also rolling out clever new features on these devices, including a ‘Now Bar’ that pops up at the bottom of the screen to display football scores, timers or your commute time.
“There’s also a ‘Now Brief’ providing a quick rundown of the day ahead, including weather updates, key news and diary events. There’s even a nifty new AI Select feature, capable of scanning items like football or airline tickets and automatically adding the event to your calendar or showing you the route on your maps app.
“There’s more good news if you want to keep your phone for longer. Not only has Samsung covered its new call makers in tougher Corning Gorilla Armor 2 glass but you’ll also get a whole 7 years of software and security updates.”
