‘The President Is Insane’: Trump Mocked After New Meltdown On An Unexpected Topic

Critics are questioning President Donald Trump’s mental health after his latest bizarre rant in which he threatened Canada with new penalties, then delivered a wild warning about the country’s favorite sport.

Somewhere in the middle of that lengthy post, Trump took a detour to China. And hockey.

″…Prime Minister Carney wants to make a deal with China — which will eat Canada alive. We’ll just get the leftovers! I don’t think so. The first thing China will do is terminate ALL Ice Hockey being played in Canada, and permanently eliminate The Stanley Cup.”

The Stanley Cup is the most prestigious trophy in the National Hockey League. Twenty-five of the NHL’s 32 teams are American, and no Canadian team has won the Stanley Cup in decades.

Trump made a similar claim about China forcing Canada to stop playing hockey last month that he still hasn’t explained.

The president’s critics are also finding this comment hard to comprehend ― even by Trump’s usual standards. They hit back on social media:
