Webcam models share how randy viewers seek virtual girlfriend experiences and send flowers and gifts as the site sees a 38% spike in traffic on Valentine’s Day
Babestation models have spilled the beans on what Valentine’s Day – their busiest day of the year – is like, when lonely Brits cause a staggering 38% surge in viewer numbers. For lovebirds across the nation, February 14 is a day for romantic gestures and quality time with their significant other. However, for cam girls, it’s an evening of hard graft.
Babestation, one of the leading international webcam platforms, disclosed that viewership soars by a whopping 38% between 7pm and 11pm on this day. Sessions tend to last 18% longer than usual, as fans log in hoping to find a connection, according to data analysis.
British singles aren’t shy about showing their affection either, with stats revealing a 27% increase in the likelihood of them favouriting a model online more than any other day in February. Models shared that interactions with viewers become more personal, as many are on the hunt for a virtual “girlfriend experience”.
Even flowers and heart-themed presents make their way to the models on this global day of love. “The request I get most is the girlfriend experience,” revealed 33-year-old Bonni Gee from North London, who boasts a following of 88,300 on Instagram @bonni.gee.
“In the weeks leading up to Valentine’s Day, men ask for more intimate content. I had a call from one of my fans who wanted to do a roleplay involving him sending me a special gift, and he actually did – I received roses and a necklace. That was very special – I loved to be spoiled.”
Olivia Eden, from Nottingham, who boasts 47,000 Instagram followers @oliviaedentv, explained: “The mood on Valentine’s Day is always intimate, playful, lightly decadent and sultry. There’s a sense that everyone wants to feel even more desired and understood, wrapped in a little fantasy, but grounded in genuine care.
“Valentine’s season is always charming and flirty. In the past couple of years, I have spent the days leading up to the occasion doing TV work. It can feel empowering.
“I get to set the tone, hold the mood, and turn a day that can be heavy for some people into something lighter, sweeter, even a little magical.” The 30-year-old added: “I think of it less as ‘working on Valentine’s Day’ and more as being a charming hostess for desire.”
Elsewhere, Megan Rox revealed how she has worked online for the past three Valentine’s Days – with one admirer even whisking her away on a virtual date. The 24-year-old insists it beats spending the romantic holiday solo, as she adores connecting with her audience.
“It’s quite a nice day to work,” shared Megan, who has amassed 92,900 Instagram followers @meganrox_x. Everyone’s in a happy mood on the stream as it’s the day of love – and we spread it. I’ve worked the last three Valentine’s, as I’ve been single.
“If I had a partner, I might spend the day with them instead – but the single life is lonely so spending time on the stream is a good way to have a chat and most importantly, some fun.”
The model from Birmingham added: “I had a guy a long while ago on Valentine’s Day who wanted a cam-to-cam while he ate his food, to create a date experience with him.
“I was obviously at the studio so I didn’t have a fancy lasagne dinner like his – I had a packet of Doritos – but we sat and ate together and just spoke. It lasted about 40 minutes – and it was lovely.”
Much like Cupid himself, models creating X-rated material know precisely how to strike their mark. From meticulously planned themed ensembles to steamier bespoke video demands, there’s loads of graft to be tackled.
“I definitely get more on-theme video requests around Valentine’s Day,” said Zeena Valvona, 24, from Hampshire, who has 14,100 Instagram followers @zeena_valvona. They vary from pretending I’m on a date with them to bullying them for being lonely on Valentine’s Day.
“I’m not working on Valentine’s this year but I totally would have if it landed on a week day, as I usually work in the week – I like the idea of getting to dress up on theme.”
Kiah Monae, who has 17,500 Instagram followers @kiah_monae_ said: “Valentine’s Day starts with getting completely dolled up. I take extra time with my hair and make-up, usually going all in on a red theme, red lipstick, red lingerie, sometimes a red dress.
“It’s very intentional and romantic. The whole process is about setting the mood, feeling confident, and stepping into that Valentine’s energy before the calls even begin.”
The 24-year-old shared: “I love dressing up, spending time with my regular callers, and creating a space where everyone feels confident and desired.
“Valentine’s is about celebrating attraction – and I’m very comfortable owning that energy.”
A representative for Babestation commented: “Valentine’s Day is always one of our busiest nights – people don’t want to feel alone, and our models are amazing at creating genuine connections.”
