British vacationers brawl with transgender Thai girls after accusing them of making an attempt to enter their villa and steal from them

A group of British tourists were caught up in a violent brawl with transgender women in Thailand after the holidaymakers accused them of stealing.

The brawl unfolded on Walking Street – a party hub in the Thai city of Pattaya – in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Footage shows a furious tourist accusing the group of ladyboys of attempting to enter their holiday villa and taking money from them.

‘Yes, you did. You tried to go to my villa, 10 bedroom, you tried to steal from me,’ a British man can be heard telling a trans woman

‘Watch these girls, I slapped them all,’ he says.

The man then walks over to another ladyboy and forcefully shoves her to the ground before taking off.

The woman gets back on her feet and chases after the Brit, but before she can reach him, another tourist intervenes and punches her in the face.

She strikes back, but is tackled to the floor again, while the tourist is seen pulling her hair.

Amid the commotion, the ladyboy appears to drop an item, which the tourist picks up off the floor before walking away.

Meanwhile, onlookers are heard screaming, while some try to break up the brawl.

The group of Brits could later be seen pouring beer on locals.

Police were called to the scene, but both sides are understood to have dispersed before cops arrived.

Officers said on Wednesday that no report had been filed about the incident, and that the Brits had not been identified.

A motorcycle taxi driver who witnessed the fight said: ‘Before the incident, I was sitting and calling out to customers when I noticed three foreigners arguing with a group of transgender women.

‘One tourist wearing a blue shirt suddenly pushed one of them to the ground, and then they began chasing and attacking each other. As a result, two to three of the transgender women were injured. I don’t know what they were fighting about.’

Pattaya has become the country’s flagship tourist destination, fuelled by the allure of bars, massage parlours, and cheap sex.

However, the region is now often seen as tarnishing the wider image of Thailand as a family-friendly holiday destination with stunning beaches, food and a rich history.

Ongoing incidents involving tourists being attacked or caught up in crime have led the resort town to be dubbed ‘Sin City’.

The brawl comes after two Brits were caught up in a street fight with Australian and American tourists in the Thai resort last month.

Francis Dunne and Lee Farmer, both from the UK, were drinking in a bar when the incident happened.

Violence erupted as the Brits confronted the alleged attacker over his actions.

They took the fight to the streets, sparking panic along the strip of neon-lit bars in ‘Sin City’ Pattaya, in the early hours of January 25.

Footage shows the pair battering a man, seen lying on the road in a red shirt, before one of them unleashed a kick that knocked him unconscious.

They then turned their fury on an Australian, as a group of women shouted at them to stop.

Police arrived to haul the three men to the local station, while the man in the red shirt, who was an American, was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police Lieutenant Itthiporn Tangchuthawisap of the Pattaya City Police Station said: ‘Initial inquiries found that all parties had met earlier at a bar where they were drinking together.

The group reportedly later made amends, with one of the British men hugging a man who was sporting a swollen left eye.
