The government has announced this afternoon that more than 1.4 million NHS workers will receive a 3.3 percent pay this April.
The pay boost, set to come with the new tax year, comes after unions representing workers criticised pay levels that would people who propped up the health system during the pandemic “fall below te legal minimum rate”.
