A white forensics tent has been erected outside Nancy Guthrie‘s Arizona home 12 days after she was abducted.
It comes as the FBI is combing through the rugged terrain around Savannah Guthrie’s mother’s $1 million Tucson, Arizona, home, where she was abducted from the early hours of February 1.
Forensic tents are typically erected when investigators want to conceal a body, weapon, or another critical pieces of evidence.
Authorities have said Guthrie, 84, was taken against her will. DNA tests showed blood found on her porch was hers.
She takes several medications and police said there is concern she could die without them.
Investigators have been inundated with thousands of tips after publishing doorbell camera footage showing a male figure wearing a ski mask and thick gloves approaching Nancy’s residence, then realizing the camera was recording him and tearing it off.
