Aliens really are out there, says Barack Obama, but they’re not where you might expect ‘unless there’s this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the president of the United States’
We’re not alone… Barack Obama has confirmed that aliens are real. “They’re real, but I haven’t seen them,” he told YouTuber Brian Tyler Cowen in a podcast released on Saturday.
The former president revealed that he has no idea where they are, but he debunked popular conspiracy theories about the mysterious Area 51, a top-secret military base in the Nevada desert.
While alien hunters believe the site houses spacecraft and dead extra-terrestrials, it really is just an air force facility: “They’re not being kept in Area 51, there’s no underground facility, unless there’s this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the president of the United States.”
Obama has hinted that he knows more about aliens than he can let on. “When it comes to aliens, there are some things I just can’t tell you on air,” he told The Late Late Show James Corden back in 2021.
His latest comments come amid rising evidence that Earth is being visited by civilisations from other planets.
A series of government documents in recent years has revealed mysterious aircraft sightings. Leaked radar footage from United States Air Force Reaper drones 13 years ago apparently shows Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs), the government’s new term for UFOs, flying in the Middle East.
The footage was shared by reporters and prominent UFO researchers George Knapp and Jeremy Corbell in early February.
The Pentagon released three unclassified Navy videos in 2021 in which strange objects race through the sky as US servicemen react with awe, with one of the UAPs rotating against the wind.
Obama went on to confirm that the UAP sightings were legitimate and that the government could not explain where the aircraft came from and how they could fly in their bizarre way.
“But what is true — and I’m actually being serious here — is that there’s footage and records of objects in the skies that we don’t know exactly what they are,” he said.
Daily Star Sunday recently uncovered a scary surge in incidents of “unidentified objects” through a Freedom of Information request. More “alien” objects are appearing near UK airports as experts fear they are “getting braver”.
Paranormal expert Robert Pulme said: “It really is not that unusual when you consider what the world has been in the past few years.
“We have been in a mess. Covid hit, the world is still in a mess and now there is talks of WW3 in the coming times.
“It is all really unsettled, so if another form of life is looking to communicate with us, either to work with us or against us, there is no better time to make an impact and get a hold of the planet than when things are unsteady.”
