Bukayo Saka has reportedly signed a new five-year contract at Arsenal.
The 24-year-old has become the highest-paid player at the club after committing his future to the Emirates Stadium until 2031 in a deal worth in excess of £300,000-per-week.
According to the BBC, talks over a new deal have been ongoing for nearly a year and Saka verbally agreed to sign new terms last month. Saka had just over 18 months left on his contract after signing his previous deal in 2023. The 24-year-old has been the club’s attacking powerhouse for years, having climbed through the academy ranks since 2019.

Despite his importance in Mikel Arteta’s side, who are seeking a historic quadruple this season, Saka will not become the highest paid-player in the club’s history, with Mesut Ozil reportedly previously earning £350,000-per-week.
Saka’s old terms were said to be £195,000-per-week, with six of his mates in the Arsenal camp on more, including those who haven’t made as much of an impact as Saka, such as Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus.
The England international is the latest big name to commit to the Gunners, with William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly all signing new long-term contracts in the summer.
Saka has scored seven times in 33 appearances for the Gunners this season but has battled injuries and fitness issues. His last goal came against Fulham in October.
The Hale End academy graduate is closing in on a milestone 300th Arsenal appearance, having scored 77 times and clocked up 78 assists in 296 games to date.
Arsenal are still in the mix to win four trophies this season. Arteta’s side are four points clear at the top of the Premier League and can open their advantage up to seven points if they beat Wolves on Wednesday.
The Gunners also face Pep Guardiola’s team in the Carabao Cup final next month and remain in the Champions League and FA Cup.
