Six firms connected to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s former wife Sarah Ferguson are being dissolved following the release of the Epstein files, Companies House records reveal. Sarah served as the only director of all six businesses, none of which maintained a significant public presence.

According to Companies House, applications to strike off each firm were submitted after fresh disclosures about Sarah’s communications with the paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein emerged through the publication of millions of documents by US authorities.

In papers released last month, the former duchess appears to tell Epstein: “I am at your service. Just marry me.”

In an email exchange from September 21 2011, she seemingly wrote: “Don’t know if you are still on this bbm but heard from The Duke that you have had a baby boy.

“Even though you never kept in touch, I still am here with love, friendship and congratualtions (sic) on your baby boy. Sarah xx”.

The email is then followed up with a message saying: “You have disappeared.

“I did not even know you were having a baby. It was soooo crystal clear to me that you were only friends with me to get to Andrew. And that really hurt me deeeply (sic). More than you will know.”

Numerous exchanges are dated after Epstein’s 2008 conviction for soliciting prostitution from a child. The former Duchess of York is winding down several companies: S Phoenix Events, Fergie’s Farm, La Luna Investments, Solamoon Ltd, Philanthrapreneur Ltd and Planet Partners Productions Ltd, none of which seem to have been particularly active.

As per the Government website, applying to strike a company off the register, also known as “dissolving” a company, is a method of shutting down a company that hasn’t traded in three months.

Late last year, following the loss of her courtesy royal divorcee title, Sarah officially changed her details for all the firms from Sarah Duchess of York to Sarah Margaret Ferguson.

Shortly after new information surfaced about the former duchess’s association with Epstein, Sarah’s Trust, a charity she founded, also announced its closure “for the foreseeable future”.
