Rugby legend Lawrence Dallaglio is now reportedly dating a new mystery woman as he finds love again following his brutal divorce.

The former England captain, 53, appears to be piecing his life back together with a brunette after pictures of him and his new partner surfaced. According to the Daily Mail, they have moved into a refurbished rented house in a residential street near St Albans, Hertfordshire.

Dallaglio, who was stripped of his international role in 1999 after allegedly confessing to using prostitutes in Amsterdam and was accused of using and dealing cocaine and ecstasy, has had his private life blow up in the public eye over the years – including cheating scandals and bankruptcy on top of drug problems.

The 85-time England international was married to model Alice Corbett for 20 years, with the couple long-term partners and raised three children – daughters Ellie, Josie and their son Enzo together. But the two went their separate ways in February last year after numerous scandals from both parties.

Dallaglio’s mother-in-law robustly refuted suggestions that his marriage with Alice crumbled due to an alleged affair between Alice and a close friend of Dallaglio.

Merely two years before they exchanged vows, there were rumours suggesting that Corbett had an affair with Dallaglio’s pal Leon Butler, though they later reconciled. Dismissing these claims, Lydia, Dallaglio’s mother-in-law, told the Daily Mail they were “wrong”.

She disclosed her own feelings about the breakup: “I’m very sad about it. People marry and they divorce, I’ve been divorced twice so I know what it’s like. It’s horrible, it’s painful for the heart and it’s not fair. He did very well, I loved him, but he’s going through a bad phase and we hope he’s all right.”

Another insider previously confided to the website: “It seems that their relationship and marriage never really totally got over Alice’s fling. They obviously hoped they could put it all behind them but it was something they could not completely forget.

“It is a great shame because they were happy together for many years, and it’s not to say that Lawrence’s own behaviour and shortcomings might have contributed to things going wrong as well.”

According to the outlet, when Dallagio lost the England captaincy, he allegedly told an undercover reporter he had been a teenage drug dealer and reportedly added: “I made big, big money from dealing in drugs.

“Why do you think I know so much about drugs? I was surrounded by it. I used to drive from one end of London to the other with five or six ounces of it (cocaine). That’s how I used to make money before I took up rugby.”

He also boasted how he and two team-mates allegedly took ecstasy and cocaine to celebrate winning the 1997 Lions series in South Africa.

In 2020, Dallagio was again caught up in another dodgy situation when a court heard he made “payments of up to £10,000 at a brothel” in Holborn, which also offered clients cocaine. He was not arrested and did not give evidence in the case.
