Donald Trump’s madcap health secretary has been widely mocked for posting a bizarre topless workout with aging singer Kid Rock. Robert F Kennedy Jr, 72, was seen drinking whole milk in a hot tub with the All Summer Long singer, real name Robert James Richie.
The barmy video, titled Rock Out Work Out, urged Americans to “get active and eat real food” and showed the pair lifting weights in a gym before they both took their tops off and took turns riding a bike in a sauna while Kid Rock’s Bawitdaba blasted out.
Kennedy, who recently admitted to sniffing cocaine off toilet seats in the past, is then seen taking a cold plunge in an ice bath while wearing jeans after Kid Rock flashes a middle finger at the camera.
The 90-second clip was posted on X and shared by Kennedy, who previously declared his mission is to “Make America Healthy Again”. He is also seen playing paddleball with the singer, who enjoyed a hard-partying lifestyle before “finding God”.
The pair were mercilessly mocked on X, where one user said: “Two addicts teaching us about health! I also do not take health advice from people working out in jeans.”
Another said: “A worse pair of adverts for health and family is difficult to imagine. America’s healthcare will step back to the Middle Ages – ah sorry that’s before you existed.”
A fourth joked: “To take a swim or sauna with jeans on is apparently peak MAHA and peak ”masculinity” for you. The rest of the civilized world laughs at this!”
Another mocked: “I didn’t even think u were this stupid but I was wrong! RFK Jr and Kid Rock working out in a sauna!!!! Hahahahaha!” Someone else asked: “Are we sure this just isn’t a video from the Epstein files?”
One more said: “lol! That’s hilarious because is a total joke. Who works out in jeans?! Why do they have to make so over the top weird!? Milk in a hot tub after a work out. Gross.”
Kennedy was appointed health secretary by Trump on his return to the White House and has made controversial health comments in the past, including suggesting Lyme Disease was “highly likely a militarily engineered bioweapon”.
He previously declared that antidepressants secretly turn people into school shooters and that taking paracetamol in pregnancy can cause autism in kids, prompting a rebuttal from UK health chiefs.
