Police were called to tragic scenes at an Iceland supermarket after reports of a woman being found dead. The incident occurred at the supermarket’s branch on Montrose Avenue in Slough during busy shopping period on Saturday (February 21) afternoon.
The woman, who police confirmed is aged 42, was found dead in her car parked outside the shop. Multple police cars were seen parked in front of Iceland until later in the evening.
A blue forensics tent was also set up with police cordoning off part of the car park to investigate the tragic death. Thames Valley Police (TVP) attended and said a file is being prepared for the coroner. The death is currently being treated as “unexplained”.

The force have broken the heartbreaking news to the woman’s next of kin. TVP officers have offered them their support during this “difficult time”.
A TVP spokesperson said: “We are preparing a file for the coroner after an unexplained but non-suspicious death in Slough yesterday (February 21).
“A 42-year-old woman was sadly found dead in a car in a car park in Montrose Avenue at around 2.30pm.
“Her next of kin are aware and we have offered them our support at this difficult time.”
