The American rapper took in his first game at Swansea.com Stadium since investing last summer, with towel-twirling fans and pyrotechnics before Tuesday evening’s Championship clash with Preston North End
Snoop Dogg commanded nothing less than the full undivided attention of the Swansea.com Stadium as he made a high-energy entrance on Tuesday evening.
The hip-hop legend was attending his debut match at Swansea City following his acquisition of a minority shareholding in the club during the summer, and played his part in rousing the supporters ahead of kick-off.
Following his striking arrival earlier that day, Snoop was presented to the Jack Army, with each fan receiving a commemorative Snoop Dogg-branded towel to wave overhead before the Championship encounter with Preston North End.
The faithful responded enthusiastically, producing a blanket of white as Snoop Dogg appeared, accompanied by suitably dramatic pyrotechnics.
Snoop then completed a circuit of the ground surrounded by his considerable entourage, periodically pausing to provide autographs for supporters in the stands during his procession.
He was serenaded with performances of ‘Hymns and Arias’, plus the customary rendition of ‘You Jack *******’ and ‘Snoop Dogg’s Barmy Army’ from the crowd, who were evidently savouring the moment as much as he was.
At one point, reserve keeper Andy Fisher was forced to halt his pre-match preparations to accommodate the substantial procession making its way around the turf.

The atmosphere was one of orchestrated mayhem, with Snoop later seen taking photos with mascot Cyril the Swan in front of a small group of travelling supporters.
He even appeared to gesture towards the away fans before heading back down the pitch and disappearing into the tunnel.
The grin on his face indicated he was thoroughly enjoying himself, and he waved his white towel at the crowd as a final salute, capping off an evening that the fans are unlikely to ever forget.
