The world-renowned British physicist can be seen laying between two women with a huge smile as they hold up fruity-looking drinks in the snap, which has been unearthed in the Epstein files
Stephen Hawking is seen grinning as he’s pictured in between two bikini-clad women while sipping on cocktails in a photo released in the Epstein files. The late professor can be seen laying on a sun lounger holding a red drink on what appears to be a tropical island.
No context is given to the photo and the location and date is not released. But it is thought it may have been taken on Epstein’s Little Saint James Island in the US Virgin Islands.
Hawking was among 21 internationally renowned scientists who attended a conference hosted by Epstein on the island and the nearby St Thomas in 2006.
Before that summit, Hawking was seen in two images on the notorious island. One saw him at a barbecue with a number of other people and the second saw him being given a tour of the island’s seabed from the inside of a submarine.
Epstein had reportedly modified the underwater vessel so Hawking, who used a wheelchair because of his motor neurone disease, could go underwater. Hawking’s relationship with Epstein is unclear and the pair were not pictured together at any point.
The professor was previously accused of having “participated in an underage orgy” on the island by Epstein sex trafficking accuser Virginia Giuffre, according to emails sent by the dead paedophile.
Epstein furiously denied the allegation and emails suggest he instructed his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell to offer money to Giuffre’s friends if they could help disprove the claims against Hawking.
An email sent from Epstein reads: “You can issue a reward to any of Virginia’s friends, acquaints, family that come forward and help prove her allegations are false.
“The strongest is the Clinton dinner, and the new version in the Virgin Islands that Stephen Hawking participated in an underage orgy.”
Hawking was also alleged to have visited an “all male” club with Epstein in 2011. FBI officials received an unsubstantiated tip-off in 2019 claiming the pair were with “some Russian liaisons”, according to documents made public by US officials.
In 2019, the New York Times reported Epstein wanted to develop an improved super-race of humans using genetic engineering and artificial intelligence and he often held dinners, lunches and conferences and invited leading scientists like Hawking.
