Eagle-eyed Coronation Street fans spotted a big blunder in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment – with one character being served by a ‘ghost’.
The scene in question took place at Roy’s Rolls, as a customer received their order under seemingly unusual circumstances.
This visitor appeared to be handed their drink – despite Roy (David Neilson), Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) and Jodie (Olivia Frances Brown) all being away from the counter.
Posting on X, Coronation Street podcast The Talk of the Street highlighted the confusing moment with a clip of the ‘ghostly’ turn of events.
They penned: ‘In tonight’s #corrie, more suggestion that ghosts exist?
‘Jodie talks about it being a morgue in the cafe, dead or what, while this ghostly customer is ignored by her and Bernie and SERVED BY NO ONE!!!’

A fellow viewer joked: ‘Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!’
Another made light of the situation by commenting underneath with ghost and laughing emojis.
It’s not the first time that fans have been distracted by on-screen blunders.
In a previous instance, Gemma Winter-Brown (Dolly-Rose Campbell) was working at D&A Alahan’s Corner Shop when viewers spotted an error while serving coach Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) and Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale).
As fans will know, the two are involved in a stomach-churning pedophilia storyline – and Will’s family have no idea that the sports coach is actually grooming him.
The scene saw the pair put a sandwich and a bag of crisps on the table, which Gemma then scanned.
However Megan told the youngster to put the crisps back and he said: ‘Don’t be such a buzz kill. I’ve earned it.’
To which Megan said: ‘I’ll tell you what, if you do a good training session tomorrow morning, I’ll think about it.’
But observant fans pointed out that the sandwich that Gemma scanned didn’t even have a barcode, and one fan took to TikTok to share the mistake with the caption: ‘What did she scan?’
Many then took to the comments section to share their frustration over the mishap.
‘Does my head in, especially with the blatant empty coffee cups at least have water in them. It’s so jarring.’
‘I noticed this and had to rewind just to make sure.’

While back in 2024, Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) celebrated his twins’ Aadi (Adam Hussain) and Asha’s (Tanisha Gorey) 19th birthday – but fans spotted an issue.
Namely, a blunder in the dodgy maths – as they noted that they would only be turning 18 if they were born in 2006.
One said: ‘Clearly not Dev or the #CoronationStreet writing team, because they were born in 2006… (for those who struggle with maths, they’ll be 18). Seriously, if you’re going to goof on the ages of your characters, why draw attention to it with a tweet like this!?’
Another said: ‘Can you explain how they’re 19 if they were born 18 years ago?’
A third penned: ‘They’re turning 19? 18 years after they were born? How does that work out?’
