Major police presence was seen at hospital in Leeds for the second night in a row as officers cordoned off a nearby street.
A cordon in place at Calverley Street in the city centre last night (February 25), which is located just outside of Leeds General Infirmary.
The incident comes just 24 hours after armed officers were called to the hospital after staff became concerned over a man being involved in a shooting. The victim arrived with “gunshot wounds” at the hospital, which saw West Yorkshire Police send armed officers to the scene on Tuesday night (February 24).
The police cordon remained in place on Calverley Street last night confirmed past 9.30pm, according to reports from the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Police were seen diverting traffic and turning people away from the area with ambulances and police vehicles seen within the cordon.
West Yorkshire Police have not revealed details of last nights incident but have confirmed to the Yorkshire Evening Post that it is not connected to Tuesday’s incident.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman confirmed that two arrests were made in regards to the shooting on Tuesday.
Police were called to the scene shortly after 5:30pm on February 24 after hospital staff reported a man, believed to be in his late 20s, arrived at the hospital with wounds relating to a firearm being used.
The force confirmed that despite being injured, he is not believed to be in a life threatening condition.
In a statement, West Yorkshire Police said: “We have been made aware of speculation on social media regarding police activity outside the Leeds General Infirmary.
“Officers were called shortly after 5.30pm by hospital staff after a man in his late twenties presented at the hospital with injuries consistent with a firearm discharge. His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
“The incident did not occur at the hospital or on its grounds, and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of what took place and how the man came to be injured. Two men have been arrested, and a police cordon is in place.”
