Dubai airport hit by one other Iranian air strike after suicide drone assaults on well-known Burj Al Arab lodge and Palm Jumeirah

Smoke was rising from Dubai International Airport this morning as Iran attacked the emirate with airstrikes for a second day.

Tehran is launching revenge strikes across the Middle East after joint US-Israeli strikes killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Yesterday Iranian suicide drones hit landmark hotels the Burj Al Araband Palm Jumeirah.

Today, explosions are echoing across the city, which has become a haven for wealthy British expats, as it suffers renewed attacks.

The city state, which is a key transport hub between Asia and Europe, remains on high alert as Iran continues its retaliatory strikes.

Iran has vowed to launch the ‘most intense offensive operation in history’ after the strikes which killed Khamanei, four of his family members and at least two high level military leaders.
