Iranian state media has confirmed reports that the country’s Supreme Leader has been killed.
Us President Donald T rump and high-ranking Israeli officials announced the death on Saturday, hours before Iran confirmed the news, with Trump calling his death an act of justice for Iranians, Americans and others around the world who were killed or maimed by him and his allies.

Reports from Fars News, a media outlet linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, also confirm that the leader’s daughter, son-in-law, and grandchild were also killed in the attack. President Trump addressed the event on his Truth Social account, describing the killing as an act of justice for Iranians, Americans, and people worldwide who suffered under Khamenei’s regime.
The regional situation remains volatile as the conflict spreads beyond Iran’s borders. Explosions have recently rocked Dubai and Abu Dhabi, while the Iranian regime has launched retaliatory strikes against Israel and various airports located within the United Arab Emirates, as per the Daily Express.
“This is not only Justice for the people of Iran, but for all Great Americans, and those people from many Countries throughout the World, that have been killed or mutilated by Khamenei and his gang of bloodthirsty THUGS,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account.
The US president added that the slaying of the Iranian leader is a rare opening for the embattled Middle Eastern nation to “take back their Country,” adding he was hearing some members of Iran’s security forces no longer wanted to fight and were seeking immunity.
He said the United States would keep up “heavy and pinpoint bombing” for as long as needed to achieve “peace throughout the Middle East and, indeed, the world.”
His comments come as Dubai and Abu Dhabi have also been rocked by explosions as the US strikes Iran, and Tehran’s regime fires back at Israel, as well as airports in the UAE.
