- Hanson accused of calling Thorpe a ‘bitch’
Independent Senator Lidia Thorpe has accused One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson of calling her a ‘bitch’, in the middle of a Senate debate.
On Monday morning, Thorpe raised a point of order against Hanson, accusing her of saying the slur.
‘I just got called a b**** by a racist,’ Thorpe said.
Hanson left the chamber moments later, criticising her on the way out.
‘I will be glad to see the back end of you in this place is two years time,’ Hanson said.
