There’s a time and a place for sitting on the fence. The problem is Keir Starmer thinks it is always that time.

His tenure in Downing Street has been littered with examples of indecisive dithering and U-turns. It’s like he’s trying to please everyone, but only succeeding in pleasing no-one.

We live in a crazy world of populist leaders and extremist ideologies. So it is good – in theory – to have someone who applies nuance and context before jumping in at the deep end. But that doesn’t mean we want someone who is like a rabbit in the headlights either.

In times of crisis we need leadership, and that means a PM who is prepared to make tough choices on behalf of our country. Not someone who gives half answers and makes no commitments.

There are some very ruthless and unwavering world leaders around the globe at the moment. And unless you stand with or against them you’ll be eaten for breakfast!

It’s shout of order..

MPs are always trying to batter us in the pocket one way or another. Every year when the Budget comes around, the vast majority are having to shell out even more cash just to get by.

We’re always told the same old story. The country is skint and the economy is being wrecked by unavoidable world issues like the Ukraine war and Trump’s tariffs, blah blah blah.

But there is one group of individuals who they always seem to find enough cash to help out. Yes, that’s right – themselves.

Their latest decision to award themselves a large pay rise has been justified by the fact they face higher levels of abuse and intimidation these days. Of course we would never condone this behaviour towards someone for doing – or not doing – their job.

But we’re not quite sure how giving MPs loads more cash is going to make people like them more!
