Activists have turned Buckingham Palace into an ‘Epstein survivor memorial’, placing plaques remembering Virginia Giuffre.

The group Everyone Hates Elon has ruffled royal feathers after making a powerful statement on the Royals’ doorstep.

Members placed a number of plaques in memory of the late Giuffre, who campaigned for decades, giving up her anonymity and launching several legal cases to shine a light on alleged abuse by paedo financier Jeffrey Epstein and others.

The Australian and American advocate for survivors of sex trafficking was one of the most prominent accusers of the child sex offender.

She died by suicide in April 2025 at 41 years old.

When alive, Giuffre said she was forced by Epstein and his aide, Ghislaine Maxwell — who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for child sex trafficking offences — to have sex with the disgraced royal Andrew when she was a teenager.

Andrew has consistently denied Giuffre’s accusations.

In memory of her bravery, activists marched on Buckingham Palace on Tuesday and placed plaques around the grounds.

The plaque reads: “In honour of Virginia Giuffre whose campaigning exposed sexual abuse by powerful men like Jeffrey Epstein.

“Her bravery and determination brought the truth to light.

“May she be remembered long after her abusers are forgotten.”

A spokesperson for Everyone Hates Elon said: “She wasn’t here to see the arrest of Prince Andrew, but don’t let the world ever forget Virginia Giuffre.

“She demanded justice against her abusers. She never gave in.

“So we just installed this right outside Buckingham Palace. Welcome to the Virginia Giuffre Memorial Garden.

“Shame on the Royal Family if they don’t keep this new memorial we’ve placed in Buckingham Palace gardens.

“Andrew, and the whole world, should be made to remember Virginia’s bravery forever.

“Justice for all Epstein survivors.”

Members of the public have applauded the work done by the activists.

One person said: “Rest in power.” Another person said: “They are going to need a bigger garden.”

One other person added: “Whoever thought to do this also deserves a medal, this is amazing.” One person said: “Keep the fire burning.” Another added: “The Royal Family is letting the Police do its thing right now. That can not be said about the US government who is protecting all these men.” Andrew was arrested last month on suspicion of misconduct in public office following allegations he shared sensitive information with Jeffrey Epstein during his time as trade envoy. The former prince has denied any wrongdoing.
