DAILY MAIL COMMENT: Starmer has wrecked Britain’s relationship with our oldest ally

Imagine if Sir Keir Starmer had been in charge when Argentina invaded the Falklands.

Or, worse still, in 1940 when Britain stood alone against Hitler. As Trump said last night, sitting in front of a bust of our greatest PM, Starmer is ‘no Churchill’.

For once, the US President was putting it mildly.

Not content with wrecking the economy, Starmer has now wrecked Britain’s relationship with our oldest ally – because he’s in thrall to the international lawyer class, terrified of his own Left-wing MPs and desperate to appease Muslim voters.

He’s a national embarrassment.
