The world remains gripped by fears of escalating warfare, as President Donald Trump delivered some unnerving remarks whilst the US death toll was confirmed to have climbed amid the conflict in Iran. Last Saturday, President Trump stated the US military is collaborating with Israel in an effort to dismantle Iran‘s existing regime, prompting widespread concern about the possibility of World War 3 erupting.

The President has now made additional comments regarding how the war might potentially intensify, seemingly leaving many Americans frightened. They report feeling “unsafe” as tensions persist in mounting across the Middle East, with Trump displaying no indication of retreating.

This follows nearly a week of escalating tension. Shortly after the attack was initiated, Iran’s Supreme Leader was confirmed deceased.

Journalist Aaron Parnas recently drew his millions of followers’ attention to a recent declaration Trump issued, sparking considerable debate. He suggested Trump recognises that the US may encounter retaliatory strikes as a consequence of the continuing war.

According to Aaron, it represents one of the “craziest” statements the President has made thus far. When questioned about whether Americans ought to be concerned regarding potential strikes on the US, Trump reportedly told TIME: “I guess.

“But I think they’re worried about that all the time. We think about it all the time. We plan for it. But yeah, you know, we expect some things. Like I said, some people will die. When you go to war, some people will die.”

Aaron stated: “I don’t think when he said that initially, ‘when you go to war, some people will die’, people took that to mean Americans dying on American soil from retaliatory attacks as a result of the war he started.

“People took that to mean American service members in combat. That’s not what he’s saying tonight. A pretty stunning admission from the President of the United States.”

The video has been viewed over 100,000 times since it was posted, and many were quick to respond. It’s evident the situation is causing thousands to fret.

One individual commented: “We’re not American citizens, we’re American sacrifices.” Another added: “Putting millions of Americans at risk.”

A third responded: “We have NEVER been more unsafe as a country.” Meanwhile, a fourth noted: “I did. I absolutely took his statement that some people will die, as meaning Americans on American soil.”

Another person also wrote: “Whoever is still playing Jumanji, please stop! I don’t know what level we’re even on at this point!”

This week it was confirmed that six Americans lost their lives during the conflict when an unmanned aircraft struck a U.S. facility in Kuwait. However, no attacks have yet been reported on U.S. soil.

His comments followed another alarming statement about the conflict made earlier this week whilst addressing reporters at the White House. On that occasion, Trump stated: “We’re doing very well on the warfront to put it mildly, I would say. Somebody said ‘on a scale of 10, where would you rate it?’ I said about a 15.

“We’re going to continue to do, while we have the greatest military in the world by far.” He also described Iran as “a tremendous threat” to America, claiming Iran had spent 47 years “killing people all over the world.”

He added: “I think we have great support. I think, if we didn’t do it first, they would have done it to Israel, and give us a shot, if that was possible.”
