- Royal insider Rob Shuter has made explosive claims that King Charles III could abdicate within the next year, paving the way for Prince William to take the throne.
- The former spokesman for Princess Michael of Kent appeared on The Nerve with Maureen Callahan podcast to discuss the 77-year-old monarch’s future. He claimed his palace sources believe it’s time for Charles to step down.
- He said: “My sources in the palace are strong – I was the publicist for Princess Michael of Kent – I have worked for the Royal Family. I am told within the palace, ‘Your bombshell piece saying Charles should abdicate was read within the palace, and a lot of people agree with you.”
- Shuter boldly predicted Prince William could become King within six to 12 months, saying: “He’s already the King – he’s the acting King in all but name.”
- The royal expert also discussed speculation about Charles offering Prince Andrew’s former Royal Lodge to Harry and Meghan as an olive branch. Andrew was recently kicked out of the property and now lives at Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate. He believes William wouldn’t oppose such a move, saying: “So be it, I don’t think William is going to fight on that hill – there’s much bigger issues William is going to be dealing with.”
