Tucker Carlson’s Love For Trump Is Unconditional — Even Amid Clash Over Iran

Tucker Carlson says his fondness for President Donald Trump will never fade, despite being at odds over American foreign policy.

Not long after Trump knocked Carlson as a Make America Great Again traitor during a Thursday interview, the former Fox News pundit told Status’ Oliver Darcy, “There are times I get annoyed with Trump, right now definitely included, but I’ll always love him no matter what he says about me.”

Trump accused Carlson of not being a true believer as he addressed his former ally’s criticism of the U.S. and Israel’s joint military operations in Iran during an interview with ABC earlier that day.

“Tucker has lost his way,” the president lamented to journalist Jon Karl.

“I knew that a long time ago, and he’s not MAGA,” Trump continued. “MAGA is saving our country.”

“MAGA is making our country great again,” he went on. “MAGA is America first, and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that.”

Carlson called American aggression against Iran and its allies “absolutely disgusting and evil” after the U.S. initiated strikes against the Gulf state on Saturday.

A staunch critic of Israel, the political pundit reportedly tried to convince Trump not to take action against Iran during three separate visits to the White House last month.

Trump allegedly told Carlson his hands were tied and military operations seemed imminent, according to The New York Times.
