Princess and Junior Andre reveal they came upon about mum Katie Price’s engagement to Lee Andrews over TEXT and model her whirlwind marriage ‘bizarre’ as siblings admit they nonetheless have not met him

Junior added that the news was, of course, shocking as he has never met lee, before branding the whirlwind engagement ‘weird’.

However, despite the surprise announcement, he insisted his mother is ‘not a bad person’ and remains a ‘great mum’.

He added that the most important thing to him is that his mother is treated respectfully by her new husband.

It comes after Princess and Junior broke their silence on their mother’s marriage during an appearance on This Morning last month. 

The siblings appeared on the ITV show to discuss the second series of their reality show The Princess Diaries ahead of its return. 

In the series, Princess and Junior let cameras follow their lives, taking a look at the behind-the-scenes of their separate business ventures and family life. 

The series features appearances from mother Katie as well as father Peter, 52, and stepmother Emily – with the siblings confirming all three would return in series two.

However, talk soon turned away from the docu-series, as This Morning hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley were keen to get the latest from the pair on their mother’s relationship.

The former glamour model shocked the showbiz world when she announced that she was engaged, just days after her breakup from reality star JJ Slater, 32. 

She then wasted absolutely no time in appearing to get married to Dubai expat Lee, 43 – following up with a legal ceremony shortly after. 

New records appeared to show that the pair officially signed on the dotted line to formally register the marriage on February 17. 

Nonetheless, Princess revealed that she is yet to meet Lee, with Junior weighing in that the family are ‘happy as long as she’s happy’.

Asked if they had met their mum’s new husband yet, Princess said: ‘I’ve not met him.’

Junior quickly chimed in, as Princess nodded along: ‘Our mum is her own person, she’s her own woman, she’s going to do what she’s going to do and at the end of the day, we’re supportive of her as long as she’s happy.’

‘As long as she’s happy that’s all I care about,’ Junior added, as Princess chimed in: ‘If she’s happy, we’re happy.’

The duo also opened up on Katie and their dad, ex-husband Peter, confirming they’d finally called a truce on their bitter 16 year feud.

The former glamour model and singer, 52, married in 2005, little more than a year after meeting as campmates on the third series of I’m A Celebrity. 

They welcomed their two children before announcing their abrupt separation and subsequent divorce in 2009. 

Katie is said to have stopped following Peter on the platform in 2021 after he reportedly called in a lawyer over claims she made in her memoir Harvey & Me.

But fans spotted the pair following each other on social media, a week after they shared a joint statement about ‘moving on positively’.  

Friends claimed their children are the reason Katie and Peter resolved the acrimony that followed their divorce.

‘Pete’s team have been begging Katie to end this for good for months. As far back as November, they were calling Katie and her family to try to end the row.  

‘She was resolute she wouldn’t make peace with him. It was the children who made her realise she needed to draw a line in the sand. Katie has done this for them’, a source told The Sun.

Reacting to the news, Princess explained of the new series of her reality show: ‘My mum, my dad and Emily have all agreed to step back from the series, but you will still see them on it.

‘My mum and dad have made a mutual agreement, hopefully by season three, they will be getting on well…’ 

Junior added: ‘We just want to move forward as a family, and hopefully for season three, you will see more of that.’

It comes after Katie posed with a pregnancy test last month after claiming she is ‘having a child’ with new husband Lee. 

Last month, Katie claimed she was having Lee’s child in a fiery Instagram post, directed at his ex Alana Percival, with Lee also writing: ‘Soon to be three’ alongside a pregnancy emoji. 

It comes after Lee’s ex shared a scathing post where she accused him of ‘conning his own father’ and ‘taking everything you have until you have nothing left and have to rely on him’.

While Katie wrote in response: ‘@larnaapercival I know rejection doesn’t feel nice and I’m married to @wesleeeandrews the man you want and will never have again.

‘Your constant lies and put-downs is clearly showing how bitter you are, go live your life little girl. I know the truth and your now embarrassing yourself, go and have the little respect for yourself that’s left.

‘I know all about you and who you are at least I’m the real woman he has found and deserves, but please just enjoy watching us build our empire as I’m having his child.

‘I’ll enjoy the ride and big d**k energy now, I’m in the saddle, he’s the most beautiful human I know who never took anything from you. I’m the real feminine woman he deserves, not the male version you are.

‘Now disappear under that bridge you irrelevant little troll.’
