Trump threatens Iran will be “hit very hard” as Middle East conflict escalates

  • Donald Trump has issued a chilling warning that Iran “will be hit very hard” today as the Middle East conflict escalates.
  • The US President branded Iran the “loser of the Middle East” after Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian apologised to neighbouring countries. He stated: “I deem it necessary to apologise to neighbouring countries that were attacked.”
  • Trump claimed Iran had “apologised and surrendered” following “relentless U.S. and Israeli attack”. In a fiery Truth Social post, he declared: “Iran is no longer the ‘Bully of the Middle East,’ they are, instead, ‘THE LOSER OF THE MIDDLE EAST.'”
  • The Iranian leader’s apology came as intense fighting continued across the region on Saturday morning. Repeated attacks hit Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
  • Dubai International Airport was forced to evacuate passengers into train tunnels after blasts were heard. Emirates briefly suspended all flights before resuming operations later that morning.
  • US officials warned of an imminent bombing campaign that would be “the most intense yet” in the week-long conflict.
