James Carville Shares NSFW Reaction To Claims He Has ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’

James Carville on Friday trashed President Donald Trump in an expletive-laden rant and addressed claims that he suffers from “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” which isn’t an actual medical diagnosis — but is frequently used by MAGA voters as an insult.

“You’re right! I got Trump Derangement Syndrome — I hate the motherfucker,” said Carville in a video for Politicon.“And you know what? I don’t want to get rid of it. I don’t want to get better, I want to get worse. I want to hate him more. I pray to God in heaven.

He continued, “God rain the righteous rain of Trump Derangement Syndrome on me. Pray for me, Lord. I’m your vessel on this earth. Pray for the people that listen to this. We want more. We want to hate the son of a bitch so much that we can’t see straight.”

The longtime Democratic strategist appeared to lean into some theatricality during the rant, but certainly wasn’t joking about his frustrations, lamenting that other pundits such as Stephen A. Smith “can’t help but be fair” while covering Trump and his policies.

“In other words, in these people’s minds, they have just been born with a reflex idea of fairness,” said Carville, before launching into an imitation: “‘And yeah we can talk to people like Carville but they look at Trump and they just won’t give the guy credit for anything.’”

He then went on to insult Trump with some more choice words.

“And look, you fat fuck Trump, if you listen to this, you listen good, because what I’m getting ready to say is what a lot of people in this country [feel] who I speak for — and I speak for a lot of fucking people. You hear me, you fat asshole?”

“This is what we believe,” Carville said before launching into his rant on the “syndrome.”

Carville has been an outspoken critic of Trump for more than a decade, warning ahead of the 2016 election that the dangers of his presidency would be “hard to overestimate” — and admitting ahead of the 2024 election that he was “scared to death” of a second term.

“He’s invading people with no authorization, he’s got the most incompetent fucking buffoons [in his cabinet],” said Carville. “So I’m supposed to give him credit for firing [former Homeland Security Secretary] Kristi Noem — when he actually hired Kristi Noem!”

Carville also slammed Attorney General Pam Bondi, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, calling the latter a “tin-horn drugstore cowboy” and an “asshole” before resuming his theatrical prayer routine.

“Pray for all of us, Lord,” said Carville. “Pray for James. Pray for James’ friends.”

He added, “Pray for people who are paying more for gas for some idiotic fucking war that he never even told us why we’re there. He still doesn’t know why the fuck we’re there. I guess we’re there to bomb girls schools because that’s going to make them like us more.”
