Cheltenham Festival is nearly upon us. And it’s set to be the biggest and best one yet.

You can already feel the excitement rippling through the country. Fans will descend on the world-famous racecourse in their droves to watch the action unfold tomorrow (March 10).

The iconic Cheltenham Roar will signal that the party has well and truly started. Punters are set to knock back hundreds of thousands of pints of Guinness during the four-day festivities as they enjoy a flutter on the horses. Those watching it at home are also in for a treat, as bookies claim this year’s race meet looks wide open.

It always falls at the perfect time, coming just as we’re finally exiting the grim winter months.

We can’t wait. So brace yourselves – soon they’ll be off!

He’ll come in Gandhi

You can’t beat a curry. And Indian restaurants are a proud part of the landscape in Britain.

That’s why so many fans are joining the Daily Star in rallying around the Veeraswamy. They’re proudly backing the campaign to keep the legendary establishment open.

The battle has now taken an astonishing twist. None other than Gandhi’s great-grandson has offered his support.

Tushar Gandhi, a human rights activist, wants to see it remain open for generations to come. He said his great-grandfather, who visited in 1931, would be proud of the legacy it has forged. Hopefully his voice will provide the crucial impetus needed to win the fight.

With friends like him on our side, we can’t lose.
