Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and former fiancee Sarah Jane Ramos have officially informed their guests that their wedding is off, according to a report.
The couple, who share two daughters together, were due to tie the knot in a lavish Italian ceremony in April three years after first going public with their relationship.
However, just one month before the nuptials, it emerged at the weekend that they had called off the wedding, after they had a ‘blowup argument’ on their joint bachelor and bachelorette parties in the Bahamas.
Now, Prescott and Ramos have made the shock cancellation official, writing to their guests ‘with heavy hearts’ of the decision, according to TMZ.
The split couple reportedly wrote to the 250 guests, apologizing in an email for the last-minute cancellation of the wedding, which was scheduled for April 10 amid the beautiful backdrop of the Italian countryside.
‘It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we welcome your prayers,’ read the email, which was obtained by TMZ.

It is believed that Ramos, a certified wine and spirits specialist, was the one who called it off, just days after gushing over her bachelorette party on Instagram.
She posted a gallery of flicks from the vacation with more than a dozen girlfriends, including Jeanne Grier – the wife of backup Cowboys quarterback Will Grier – and Brandi Yvonne – the partner of safety Juanyeh Ajah Thomas.
‘I truly believe you can get through anything in life as long as you have really great friends. I love these girls so much,’ Ramos captioned the post.
The snapshots included a view of the group on a large yacht as well as Ramos driving a jet ski. They also appeared to arrive at their destination on a private plane.
Yet following their furious dispute in the Bahamas, the relationship was said to be beyond repair, meaning she pulled the plug on the wedding.
Fans are convinced that Ramos hinted at the split on her own social media accounts this week, when she posted about only needing friends to ‘get through anything in life’.
Alongside a series of photos of her gal pals in the Bahamas – and with Prescott conspicuous by his absence, she added: ‘I love these girls so much.’
‘Obviously, parenting brings a new element to your relationship because it’s not about you two anymore, the priority is your child,’ she told Sports Illustrated in December 2024.

In a cryptic recent Instagram post, she spoke about getting through anything with her friends
‘[Parenthood] makes you understand your partner on such a deeper, emotional level, and it’s definitely brought us even closer.’
Prescott also spoke about parenthood in an interview on his own a few months earlier, telling CBS that it ‘changed his world’.
‘I understand the responsibility as a father that I have, and I don’t take it lightly’, he added.
Prescott and Ramos’ children, Margaret and Aurora, are two years and nine months respectively, and Ramos previously opened up about a change in dynamic following the birth of their kids.
Prescott proposed to Ramos in October 2024, seven months after the birth of their first child – daughter MJ.
In May 2025, they welcomed their second daughter, Aurora Rayne, to become a family of four.
The Cowboys superstar popped the question to his now ex-fiancée after inking a $240million contract extension to keep him in Dallas through 2028.
Prescott, who played college football for the Mississippi State Bulldogs, was selected by the Cowboys with the 135th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
After immediately becoming starting quarterback, he has made a total of 139 appearances in 10 years with the team, while racking up 35,989 passing yards for 243 touchdowns.
The signal caller also has 2,115 rushing yards for 31 rushing touchdowns in Dallas, where he has put up a winning record in six of his 10 seasons.
During his decade-long spell as starting quarterback, the Cowboys have made it to the playoffs on five occasions, albeit without making it past the Divisional round.
In 2025 Prescott and Co. also failed to reach the postseason altogether for the second straight year.
