Taylor Swift entered an exclusive club when she became a billionaire in 2023 – and the star has doubled her wealth since then.
22 celebrity billionaires have been identified by Forbes magazine with Taylor in good company among the likes of Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Beyonce, Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey.
The Anti-Hero singer, 36, comes in at number seven on the list, up from number nine last year. Her fortune is now estimated at $2billion.
She became a billionaire thanks to the enormous success of her record-breaking Eras Tour along with healthy royalties fromm her music catalogue.
The star bought back the rights to her first six albums last year and her total music catalogue is thought to be worth $900million. She also owns $100million worth of real estate.
In 2019, Taylor’s former label Big Machine Records sold the rights to her first six albums to Scooter Braun who then sold them to investment fund Shamrock Holdings in 2020.

She accused the music exec of bullying and trying to prevent her from performing her old music while he countered her offered her a deal to buy them back and she refused.
This prompted Taylor to release new versions of her early albums – all dubbed ‘Taylor’s Version’ – which topped the charts.
It is not known how much Taylor paid to purchase the rights to her early music but she said it was made possible because of the proceeds from the Eras Tour.
‘That’s how I spent that Eras Tour money. My fans are why I was able to get my music back,’ the singer said on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Taylor, who was there to promote her new Disney+ docuseries, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour/ The End of an Era, gushed that she never would have met her fiancé, Travis Kelce, or been able to buy back her music if it weren’t for the tour.
The Eras Tour lasted nearly two years from March 17, 2023 to December 8, 2024 – a total of 632 days – and was hugely profitable, taking in over $2billion in ticket sales.
Taylor and Travis, 36, met in summer 2023 following the NFL player’s failed attempt to gift her with a bracelet at her July concert. He mentioned it on his podcast, which then led to their first date in New York City in early September 2023.
The couple confirmed their romance when Taylor attended his Kansas City Chiefs game that month where she was sitting with his mom, Donna Kelce.

They got engaged in August after dating for two years.
‘Getting engaged to the love of my life, getting all my music back, those were two things that just never could have happened,’ Taylor told Colbert.
‘It wasn’t like, ‘Oh, it’s just a matter of time.’ Both those things could have just never arrived in my life. And I’m so grateful for both of those things happening.’
Steven Spielberg has been dubbed the wealthiest celebrity by Forbes with a net worth of $7.1billion.
The highest-grossing film director of all time, he is thought to earn around $100 million annually from Universal theme park ticket sales thanks to a 1987 deal.
Kim Kardashian comes in right behind Taylor at number eight with a net worth of $1.9billion.
The reality star owns a third of her shapewear brand Skims which has been valued at $5billion and she also earns millions from endorsements, her skincare firm and TV appearances.
Oprah Winfrey, who has been a billionaire since 2003, parlayed the success of her former talk show into a media and business empire. Her net worth now sits at $3.2billion.
Further down the list is Rihanna at number 20 with a cool $1billion. The singer has a music catalogue worth $200million but the bulk of her wealth comes from cosmetics firm Fenty Beauty and her lingerie brand Savage X Fenty.
Beyonce comes in at number 21, also with a net worth of $1billion. Her music catalogue is worth $300 million and her haircare line Cecred is valued at $100million.
