Pro-Trump New York Post Hits White House Over A ‘Failure’ In Its Iran War

The usually pro-Donald Trump New York Post has accused the White House of dropping the ball when it comes to briefings on the Iran war, in which seven U.S. service members have been killed to date.

The editorial board of the Rupert Murdoch-owned tabloid urged officials to “start giving the public a regular, clear, concrete sense of how Operation Epic Fury is proceeding” or allow bad faith actors to fill the void, especially online.

It called it a “communications failure.”

“A public that feels it’s being leveled with, as much as possible, will be a lot more patient than one that feels needlessly kept in the dark,” it added. “Give the nation one daily report that emphasizes the big picture and provides enough of the smaller one to build confidence.”
