Love Is Blind US came to a disappointing end this week, with just two couples from season 10 choosing to remain together after getting engaged in the pods.

Yet while dating shows are often accused of being full of influencers looking for fame, not romance, it turns out that you really can find love on national television.

Across the pond in the UK, millions of viewers have tuned in over the years to watch hundreds of civilians attempt to find ‘the one’ across different British TV shows.

And now a new study has revealed just what is the most successful dating show out of Love Island, its spin-off All Stars, Love Is Blind and Married At First Sight.

The results prove that it really is possible to find your match in the most unconventional way, with couples going onto marry and have children together after meeting on a reality show.

Surprisingly, Love Island All Stars has the biggest success rating of producing long-lasting couples.

Newly-engaged Molly Smith and Tom Claire, Sophie Piper and Joshua Ritchie and Grace Jackson and Luca Bish are among the couples that have stayed together.

Out of the 75 stars that have returned to All Stars, 16 ended up in a relationship with someone from the show – meaning one in five contestants found true love.

The original Love Island series sits firmly at the bottom of the rankings, making it the least successful show for finding a relationship.

Figures analysed by Angelic Diamonds reveal Love Island has the lowest chance of finding love despite being the UK’s biggest dating show.

Across 404 contestants, only eight original couples remain together, giving the show a success rate of one in 50 contestants finding love on the show.

The couples who have defied the odds include Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde, Alex Bowen and Olivia Buckland, and Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt.

More recent couples still together include Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan, Jessie Wynter and Will Young, and Lucie Donlan and Luke Mabbott, who met across different series before forming a relationship.

All the couples who have found love on the show went onto marry, live together or have children.

While getting Married At First Sight may seem like a divorce longing to happen, the show has proved couples can find their forever person.
