Beat Sky Mobile value with 300GB of information for £15 at rival retailer

The pay as you go plan has increased from 100GB to 300GB for the same price

Instead of forking out hundreds a year on a mobile contract and data, opting for a SIM-only deal is often dubbed a more cost-effective way. One newly spotted deal undercuts Sky Mobile on price, as double the data can be bought for a fraction of the going rate.

giffgaff is now offering 300GB of data rather than for £15 a month. This is in comparison to Sky, where it sells 60GB of data for £22, 50GB for £20 and 40GB for £18.

So what does 300GB of data with giffgaff actually mean? This plan firstly offers an 18-month contract, and the plan can be changed at any time. As well as this, there are no credit checks needed to grab the deal.

With 300GB of data, buyers can get unlimited UK calls and texts, EU roaming included, up to 5GB and 5G speeds at no extra cost. When switching over to this deal, they can also keep their number.

To get this deal, shoppers need to sign up by May 18. Alternatively, Vodafone is offering some packages including 100GB of UK data for £12 a month, with a 12-month contract.

Another option is a SMARTY Unlimited Pre-Loaded Pay as you go SIM for £20. This is a flexible a one month plan – no contract is needed and it offers unlimited data, calls and texts.
