Pensioner is useless and kids are among the many 4 damage after two-car crash in Fife

An 87-year-old man died and two children were hospitalised following a two-car crash in Scotland on Saturday.

He was driving a red Dacia Sandero which collided with a blue Vauxhall Astra on the A92 in Fife at around 10.40am.

The Dacia driver died after being taken to Ninewells Hospital.

His passenger – an 88-year-old woman – was taken to the same hospital along with the 32-year-old Vauxhall driver and his two child passengers, aged seven and 13.

The road reopened at around 3pm.

Police Scotland Sergeant Grant Hastie said officers did not yet know what had happened to cause the crash.

He added police were ‘keen to speak to any witnesses to the crash’ or anyone with dashcam footage in the area around the time.
