Sophie Cunningham was brutally honest about her taste in men

Women’s National Basketball Association star Sophie Cunningham has outlined the one rule that all men must follow when dating her.

The Indiana Fever star, 29, is a celebrity off the court as well with her jaw-dropping looks and eye for style seeing her make headlines away from basketball. And Cunningham is no stranger to male attention, but the 6ft’1 star admitted she is picky when it comes to her dates.

Speaking on her podcast ‘Show Me Something’, with TV personality and sports reporter West Wilson, Cunningham revealed she refuses to date anyone shorter than her when a fan sent in a question asking how they could be more attractive to taller women.

The fan asked: “Mainly for Sophie, but I’d also like to hear West’s opinion. I’m about 6 feet tall, but I find girls who are as tall as Sophie or taller very attractive.

“I also understand that girls don’t want to date men who are shorter than them. Is there anything I can do to attract the attention of taller girls? I’d be very interested in your opinions on this.”

However, Cunningham’s brutal answer was not much help to the fan, as she said: “I don’t think I’m the right person to answer that question.

“I could never date or be with someone shorter than me. I already feel tall enough. So I’m looking for someone who makes me feel shorter.

“There are so many men who are with taller women. I think such couples have a great presence. But I simply couldn’t be with someone who is shorter; I would just feel like the man in the relationship.”

Despite her frank answer, Cunningham suggested the fan should take an interest in beach volleyball as he may have a better chance with players more open to dating small men.

“I think you should try beach volleyball,” she hopefully advised. “Play beach volleyball, there are lots of tall girls there, and volleyball in general, I don’t know, maybe it’s something for you?”

Cunningham is single and keeps her personal life relatively private. However, she was previously linked to fellow basketball player Jakob Neidig after posting a picture of him wearing her jersey.

In recent interviews, the WNBA star said she is enjoying single life and is in no rush to start a relationship with her focus more on her career.
