The owner of a popular brothel was tied up alongside her 70-year-old husband by a gang of masked and armed robbers who demanded cash and jewellery in a brazen brothel heist
The owner of a popular sex club and her husband were tied up along with rope by masked men and robbed while they on the job.
The 55-year-old owner of ‘Caesars Palace’ in West Germany, had been out walking her dog when her and her husband, who is 70, stopped by for a quick visit, according to BILD. According to police, the pair were attacked with pepper spray and threatened with a pistol, before being tied up inside the club.
It’s believed the robbers managed to get into the building by snagging a pair of the owner’s keys, and immediately began searching the sordid establishment for valuables once they’d got its owners restrained.
While the robbers are known to have demanded jewels and cash, it’s unknown whether they managed to score any loot in the brothel heist, with German police stating that, “whether anything was stolen is part of the investigation”.
The masked robbers reportedly managed to make their getaway in a vehicle with a Cologne number plate, leaving the brothel boss and her elderly husband still tied up back in the sex club. The sex club owner reportedly managed to free herself and her partner, before calling the police.
According to a statement made by local officials, the pair were taken to hospital following the incident, but despite being badly shaken did not suffer any major injuries, and are expected to make a full recovery. The club was not believed to be open at the time of the robbery.
Caesar’s Palace has long been a popular destination for Germans. According to the brothel’s website, it boasts three floors for raunchy meet-ups, and is “one of the most famous and popular swingers clubs in Germany boasting 20 years of experience in the world of sensual eroticism”.
“Couples and singles of all ages (on average between 20-50 years) visit us to leave everyday life behind, relax and enjoy the sizzling atmosphere.”, it adds. “This is ensured by an exclusive ambience with a large outdoor and wellness area as well as an extensive cold/warm buffet and courteous service.”
Germany’s criminal investigation department has launched an investigation, and the search for the men and the getaway car is underway.
