Another major airline has suspended all flights to Dubai until May following the recent announcement by British Airways.
Hong Kong-based airline Cathay Pacific has confirmed it will stop all flights to and from the United Arab Emirates city until the end of next month amid the ongoing Iran crisis.
In a statement, the airline said: “In view of the developing situation in the Middle East, all Cathay Pacific flights to and from Dubai have been cancelled up to and including 30 April 2026. Customers affected by this change who have not already received a message from Cathay Pacific are advised to check the latest status of their booking via Manage Booking.

“Our ticket waiver policy is in place to provide additional choice and flexibility.”
The airline explained that any travellers due to travel between Hong Kong and Dubai up to May 31 can either rebook, reroute, or request a refund without paying additional fees.
It also advised passengers who booked through a travel agent or another third party to contact them directly to rearrange their travel plans or request a refund.
The statement continued: “Customers who booked through Cathay Pacific (on our website, mobile app or through Customer Care), please contact our Customer Care team, who’ll be happy to assist with booking a new flight.
“For refund requests, customers are asked to go to Manage Booking. We’re continuing to monitor the situation closely.
“Further changes to our flight schedule may be needed in the coming days with the safety of our customers and people being our first priority.
“We sincerely appreciate our customers’ understanding during this time.”
