Premier League darts star Josh Rock has lost again as he sits bottom of the table and fans have started to admit it’s ‘hard to watch’
Josh Rock’s nightmare start to his Premier League campaign has continued in Dublin after he was whiteashed by Gerwyn Price.
Rocky is making his Premier League debut, after the best 12 months of his career last season when he claimed the World Cup of Darts title alongside Daryl Gurney. However, he is yet to hit the ground running in the Prem.
The Northern Irish star, who nailed a nine-darter on home soil but still lost, is rock bottom of the table and yet to register a single point. And fans have started to admit it’s tough to see the star struggle.

“Oh Rocky, this is so hard to watch,” one fan shared with a heartbreak emoji. As a second admitted: “Got to feel for him will play Clayton next week and based on recent performances it’s going to be tough to pick up the win…”
“I’m desperate for the lad to get one win, once he get’s the ball rolling I think he’ll be alright,” a third predicted. As a fourth said: “Feel for Josh Rock, must be so frustrating!”
And another added: “Big big fan of Josh Rock but even I can’t defend this anymore. Sad to see…”
Fellow Northern Irishman Gurney has urged Rock to adopt a tougher mindset against his Premier League rivals.
“Sometimes Josh is just too nice,” Gurney told Tungsten Tales. “He needs to get into his own zone and think, ‘everyone’s here to beat me’, not the other way around.”
And when asked about Gurney’s comments, Rock said: “Yes, I could do [channel my anger], but I need something to get me angry. I can’t just put it on.
“There are times there’s been matches I’ve been involved in when I’ve put the angry head on because something’s annoyed me during a game or whatever and I’ve been untouchable.
“But something like that has to happen for me to get me going. I just go up there and believe my ability is better than theirs on the night.
“Obviously, it’s not going to plan just at the minute, but that will change.”
