An 84-year-old pensioner has tragically died after allegedly being stabbed by her own son outside her house in south east London on Wednesday (April 1).
Doris Innes died of her injuries after being attacked outside her home in Plumstead, the Metropolitan Police said. Her son Giorgio Pin, 62, was arrested shortly after authorities were called and has been charged with murder and two counts of attempted murder.
Police were alerted to reports of a man with a knife at 8.50am on Wednesday. He was arrested around 20 minutes later.

Mrs Innes was found injured outside her Red Lion Place home and taken by paramedics to hospital. Pin, of nearby Brookhill Road, will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
An investigation was launched, with officers identifying two further victims who were threatened with a knife close to the scene. They did not receive any injuries.
