Tia Billinger, more commonly known as Bonnie Bonnie, is a master of playing the media but introducing a ‘child’ into her seedy world is a step too far, writes Dan Grennan
As a boy educated in the same school as his three sisters, graphic taunts about those I loved most were nothing new to me.
I found out that violence was the only way to make my classmates think twice before insulting my sisters. After a few barbaric displays, the taunts became much less frequent and manageable.
After the first year of secondary school, it really wasn’t the worst thing in the world and having a reason to hit someone with a cheap shot now and then, honestly, served as a release at times.
But for Bonnie Blue’s ‘baby’, whose mother made “millions” by claiming she got pregnant after sleeping with 400 men, life would be unbearable.
The abuse would be endless, horrifically personal and would not be limited to those in their school, thanks to the internet. I have no doubt this child would be shown pornographic images of their own mother in classrooms, playgrounds and at sporting events – it would be impossible to escape.
And it wouldn’t end at school either, this person’s working life would be constantly surrounded by rumours, gossip and maybe even direct derision in some environments. Just imagine a colleague of yours was the son or daughter of the most infamous porn star in the world; no one could deny that the temptation to talk about it would be immense.
If Bonnie, real name Tia Billinger, is actually pregnant, as I fear she is, this is very likely the world a child could be forced to live in. Even if the claims around the conception are false and they have the best parents in the world, no amount of explaining or money is going to stop the abuse once word of who they are gets out.
In two hour-long interviews with Bonnie, I have seen her ruthless ambition, courage and intelligence up close and personal. Her bravery in the face of abuse, death threats and horrific commentary is what makes her career possible and is honestly admirable.
At just 26, she is more famous than Keir Starmer and is arguably the world’s most hated woman, which is no easy feat.
She has become a global figure by carrying out unbelievably outrageous “sex challenges”. While some argue what she does is disgusting, it is simply a matter of taste when everyone involved is a consenting adult.
However, bringing a child into the seedy world of pornographic publicity stunts is something else entirely.
Most people could not survive the life Tia lives, and being thrust into it without any choice is grossly unfair.
