Donald Trump has ominously threatened to obliterate Iran by destroying all of its bridges and power plants in a mere four hours on Tuesday night. Posting on Truth Social on Easter Sunday, the US President gave Iran a deadline of 8pm ET tomorrow night (1am BST Wednesday) to strike a deal with the US or else face “living hell“.

During a White House press conference on Tuesday, he stated, “very little is off limits”, before chillingly adding: “We have a plan because of the power of our military. Every bridge in Iran will be decimated by 12 o’clock tomorrow night (05:00 BST Wednesday).

“Every power plant will be out of business, burning, exploding and never to be used again, I mean complete demolition by 12 o’clock. It will happen over a period of four hours if we want it to.”

The US President initiated his press conference by suggesting Iran could be “taken out in one night”, which might be as soon as “tomorrow night”. He was also seen to raise his arm to mimic a sniper pose.

He declared: “The entire country could be taken out in one night, and that night could be tomorrow night.”

In his expletive-laden Truth Social tirade over the weekend, Mr Trump gave Tehran until tomorrow to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, or further strikes would be launched.

He wrote: “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!!

Mr Trump also alleged that Iran is “coming for Europe ” after it’s finished with Israel and other Middle Eastern countries in a startling warning to the West.

He said: “I wanna have a safe world, and you’re not gonna have a safe world. Israel would be gone, the Middle East would be gone. and then they’re coming for Europe”
