Molly-Mae Hague has addressed Tommy Fury‘s controversial fight date being so close to when she is expected to give birth to their second child.
The Love Island stars, both 26, who are already parents to three-year-old daughter Bambi, rekindled their romance last year and are due to welcome their second child in June.
However, Tommy has revealed his plans to fight retired strongman Eddie Hall at the AO Arena in Manchester on June 13.
After reported claims that her family are ‘worried by his decision,’ Molly-Mae has revealed what she really thinks about it.
Opening up in a Q&A video on her YouTube channel, she said: ‘A lot of questions about how do you feel about Tommy’s fight and obviously the date of it,’ she said in her vlog.
‘Obviously I knew that you guys were going to like be concerned about that and have questions about that, but fear not.

‘Fear not fair maiden because we’re actually feeling really, really good about it and have a really good plan in place.’
She went on: ‘There’s actually like a good amount of time between my birth, my supposed birth because basically I’m having the baby in London again.
‘So I gave birth with Bambi at The Portland.
‘I’m not worried and I’m actually really, really happy that he’s got a fight because it’s been over a year since his last fight.’
She continued: ‘So just having a date for something and and having a focus and us having like I don’t know something to look forward to in the fight like it’s just I think it’s actually a really, really, really positive thing and he will be here when I get home.
‘He will be able to support me.’
Molly-Mae then recalled the horrendous situation she experienced after she had given birth last time, explained: ‘It’s not going to be anything like the the last time.
‘I mean that was a very, very bespoke and ridiculous situation to have one of like the most high pressure fights.

However, her family are said to be concerned that history is repeating after Tommy revealed his plans to fight retired strongman Eddie Hall
‘Like there was so much pressure on him for the Jake Paul fight.
‘It was just mental and obviously it was our first baby. I just given birth and he was literally going to Saudi and it was it was really hard.
‘But this time round it’s not going to be anything like that.
‘He will be at home. He will be living at home. He will be having his camp at home. We’re actually feeling really, really good about it.
‘So, no concerns over here. We’re in a really, really great place. Everything feels, almost just feel like a little bit too good to be true.’
It marks the boxer’s first fight in over a year, while recovery from a clash can take up to six months depending on injuries.
And it comes after Molly-Mae was induced during her last pregnancy, to ensure he could be there for Bambi’s birth in January 23, ahead of his fight with Jake Paul.
Tommy was then away for the first four weeks of their daughter’s life, leaving Molly-Mae to parent alone, as he jetted off to Saudi Arabia to prepare for the clash against. YouTuber Jake on February 26.
The Maebe founder previously admitted she was ‘traumatised’ from having to navigate her first month of motherhood alone, telling fans she didn’t sleep for a week after giving birth and ‘had a breakdown’.
Aged just 23-years-old at the time, she candidly described the period as like ‘hell and back’ and said the day that Tommy finally returned home was ‘almost better than the day Bambi was born’.
And with the news that Tommy will once again be going into the ring at the same time that their child is born, Molly-Mae is reportedly ‘determined not to have the same experience this time’.

While her family are also said to be upset that ‘nothing has changed’, despite the couple making the decision to get back together in May after calling off their engagement in August 2024.
Insiders have said that sister Zoe in particular is less than impressed with Tommy’s decision, having previously moved in with Molly to help after Bambi’s birth and who has never hidden her disapproval of the boxer.
‘It’s a real shame that once again Tommy is going to be busy throughout the first few weeks and of course it did raise eyebrows with Zoe, who has never been his biggest fan,’ a source told The Sun.
‘In lots of ways it feels like nothing has changed and they are back to square one, but Molly knows she can do it alone.
‘Her parents would love her to have a conventional relationship and for Tommy to take paternity leave like other dads do but they know that isn’t going to happen. Everyone is really hoping it doesn’t all fall apart and she has an easier ride than last time.’
Molly-Mae’s representative declined to comment when approached by Daily Mail.
Fans have also voiced criticism towards Tommy for scheduling his fight so close to Molly-Mae’s due date according to the publication.
One fan wrote: ‘This is actually insane… he knows how much it affected Molly the first time and yet does it again? But also the whole lead up she will be so stressed?? Why would you want that for both baby and mum?”
While another added: ‘It’s the fact she openly came out saying how hard newborn life with Bambi was because he wasn’t there and he’s doing it again?”
A third echoed: ‘So he’s doing this all again the same way it happened with Bambi’ while a fourth lamented: ‘It’s just so awful. I really feel for her. Nothing changes’.
Molly-Mae was keen to show she is supportive of the fight, taking to the comments of Tommy’s announcement post on Instagram to write: ‘SHOW TIME!!!’
However, she previously described feeling like her ‘life was over’ after giving birth to Bambi and described going through some ‘really low lows’ in the first few weeks.
While she also explained how she was entirely reliant on the support of her family in Tommy’s absence and became ‘really unwell’.
Speaking on her YouTube vlog, Molly said: ‘The first four weeks of Bambi’s life I really did do it by myself and I was home alone with her.
‘I pushed a lot of people away, I don’t know why. It sounds dramatic and it sounds intense but I guess I do have a little bit of trauma from the first few weeks.
‘Traumatised is a really strong word, but I am slightly. When I look back at the first few weeks of when she came home it sends shivers down my spine, I had no idea what I was doing.’
‘The first two weeks – and this is so TMI – I suffered with severe constipation,’ she went on. ‘That constipation that I experienced in the first two weeks was actually harder than my labour. I know it sounds crazy.’
She recalled one particular episode where she was crouching down in the shower ‘screaming crying for Zoe to call an ambulance’.
Addressing his decision to have a fight the day after Molly was due to give birth, Tommy insisted: ‘I have a job, but obviously I love my family too.’
