A Manchester United Premier League winner was once mocked by his team-mates after they saw his own “half of fame” in his mansion.

Carlos Tevez won his first Prem title at Old Trafford before packing up his bags and moving to the blue side of the city – becoming Public Enemy No.1. However, it was his time at United that saw him develop a close bond with Park Ji-Sung and Patrice Evra.

So much so, when Tevez gave fans a behind the scenes look at his mansion, he invited the pair along. Tevez led the trio through a reception-like area with sofas before heading downstairs into a casino.

And its in the casino where they walked through a tunnel that showed off the Argentine’s best moments of his career.

However, Evra was less than impressed: “Why are you wearing that f***ing City shirt?” A comment that drew all laughs from all three of the former Red Devils.

The ‘hall of fame’ wasn’t the only centre-piece of the house, with the trio also taking in Tevez’s resort-like swimming pool with deck chairs, rocks and palm trees around it.

The trio were very close, and Evra opened up on Tevez’s move City when speaking to The Athletic: “It was painful, man. It was heartbreaking. I couldn’t believe it.

“It was after the Champions League final and he didn’t start. He had a beef with Ferguson. Tevez was like ‘They didn’t offer me nothing’. I saw it on holiday. Boom! Tevez is joining Manchester City.

“I called him and said, ‘I’m going to kill you, I’m going to break your legs, Carlito’. This was too painful. It was difficult to swallow. But I think this was a payback to Sir Alex Ferguson.

“That’s why I was disappointed, because at the end, you will never know the true story.

“We paid the price heavily. If Tevez didn’t sign for City, I don’t think they would even start winning one league. You feel betrayed, but he is still my brother. You have to respect his choice.”
