• Speaking to the Daily Star, Glees said: “Trump could not be more wrong about NATO.” He added: “There’s no logic in Putin’s propaganda. The only person who seems to believe it is Trump.”
• Despite Russia’s vast size, Glees points out Putin’s economy is dwarfed by the West. Russia’s GDP sits at $2.17 trillion, while united Europe boasts a staggering $21 trillion.
• Glees said: “We are massively strong without the USA, we need to stop whingeing and talking ourselves down.” He believes if Europe forms a firm security pact, Americans would eventually come begging for a seat at the table.
