A 4ft-man with dwarfism has revealed the secrets behind winning over his 5ft 4in beloved wife after the couple’s wedding went viral. Timothy Muttoo and Anita Wing Lee’s marriage sent the internet into a frenzy after the couple tied the knot despite having a foot and 4 inches height difference.

Now, the engineer is sharing relationship tips with other blokes who might be battling self-doubt about their height. The delighted husband insists the friendzone offers the perfect launching pad when wooing a potential partner.

Timothy, from Toronto, Canada, said: “I just wanted to build a friendship with Anita. It wasn’t like oh I’m going to ask her out on a date and if she says yes I’m going to ask her on another date and then by the third date we’re going to be boyfriend and girlfriend.

“Those weren’t even crossing my mind. When I put it in that context it made me feel relaxed.”

Six months into married life, the couple shared footage online showcasing the “adorable moments” their height difference creates daily. One clip highlighting how they can both simultaneously access the fridge and the freezer at the same time and both lower and upper cupboards became an instant hit.

The video amassed an incredible 1.7m views and over 24,600 likes. The surge in online interest prompted the pair to discuss their relationship more openly, with Timothy sharing guidance for other men who had found themselves in similar circumstances.

Timothy said: “Height was never something either of us intentionally prioritised in relationships. What feels different about this relationship is the connection and alignment in values.

“We share faith, purpose and long-term vision. That foundation matters far more than physical traits.”

The duo initially crossed paths in 2021 and following an extended friendship, they became romantic partners before tying the knot in June 2025. Anita shared news of their wedding with her 47,700 followers online – causing the post to explode in popularity while generating divided reactions from viewers.

Timothy said: “Our wedding post unexpectedly went viral and reached millions of people around the world. Most comments were about love, joy and hope.

“Of course, the internet can bring criticism, but we do not let that define our experience. We focus on the thousands of kind messages from people who say our relationship gives them courage to choose love beyond surface-level expectations.”
