Real Madrid players were furious

Real Madrid’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich descended into chaos after the full-time whistle as irate Los Blancos stars clashed with the official.

Madrid and Bayern played out an all-time classic at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, but after Michael Olise netted Bayern’s fourth of the evening and the full time whistle sounded tensions boiled over from the Spanish side.

Real were already livid after Eduardo Camavinga was given his marching orders after a second yellow card. And after the whistle Jude Bellingham made a beeline for the official, having to be held back by some of his team-mates.

However, Bellingham wasn’t the only star that was furious and Arda Guler put a dampner on his game when he was sent off after the full-time whistle.

According to TNT Sports, the clashes continued down the tunnel. Speaking to TNT Sports after the game Real boss Álvaro Arbeloa said: “That was a great match. We put in Bellingham, Mendy, Militão that we were were not able to play in the first leg.

“We scored three goals and we could have scored some more. It’s unbelievable that you can send off a player for this action in a match like this.

“We feel really upset, really angry, really disappointing. This felt like a defining game in our season.”

“Madrid as always turning on their best player like they did against Mbappe last season,” one fan joked on X. While a second said: “It’s Madrid DNA to turn on their best player man. same script every szn…”

Real Madrid are a disgrace of a football club, whenever it doesn’t go their way they abuse refs, cry like babies and don’t attend ceremonies,” a third fumed.

And another added: “The hatred I feel for this team cannot be put into words…”
